Mission Of The ASPC
The Adamawa State Planning Commission (ASPC) has the Mission of championing the State’s development initiatives through sound advice to government; promoting unity, social justice and human welfare; and ensuring prudence in the management of State resources.
This can be achievable through a meaningful attention given to factors largely external affecting the performance of the Commission. Such factors include; political, economic, social, Technological, Legal, Environmental and security. The use of SWOT analysis is a useful tool for understanding the “big picture” of the planning environment.
This enables the Commission to build on the identified strengths, reduce the weaknesses, take advantage of the opportunities and minimize the threats as it looks at the internal and external dynamics of the Commission that could support or hinder effective planning and implementation of strategies to achieve planned results.
