ADAMAWA STATE PLANNING COMMISSION HOSTS SENSITIZATION MEETING ON 10-YEAR STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR LGAS CHAIRMEN, CSOs, AND PARTNERS.

The Adamawa State Planning Commission on October 28, 2025, hosted the second day of its sensitisation and mobilisation meeting on the 10-year Adamawa State Strategic Development Plan (SSDP) 2025-2035 at the Nyako Centre, Adamawa State Secretariat Complex in Yola.

The meeting brought together stakeholders, including Hon. Dr. Mary Paninga, Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Planning Commission, Permanent Secretary Mr. Tanimu Buba, HPMC Consultants led by Dr. Josephat Ogar, civil society organisations, development partners, local government chairpersons, private sector leaders, traditional rulers, women, and youths.

Participants engaged in group discussions, with CSOs focusing on areas of intervention and LGA chairpersons discussing governance and development challenges in their senatorial zones. The Permanent Secretary delivered closing remarks, highlighting the importance of the SSDP in driving the state’s development agenda.
