ADAMAWA STATE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH UNICEF ORGANIZES A TWO- DAY DATA VALIDATION WORKSHOP ON STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN

Adamawa State Government has been commended for being one of the best States in the country working hand in hand with UNICEF towards having desired goals.

The UNICEF representative Bauchi field office Dr. Yusuf Auta made the commendation at a two day workshop to validate the data situation Analysis of the Adamawa state strategic development plan.

The workshop organized by Adamawa State planning Commission in collaboration with UNICEF held at hometel hotel jimeta brought together Technical Working Group,Youth/ Women representatives, State Development Coordination Committee SDCC, Partners and NGOs.

The Executive Chairman Adamawa State Planning Commission Dr. Mary Paninga in a keynote address applauded UNICEF for its tireless efforts and contributions in the support for the development of the 10yr Strategic State Development Plan(SSDP 2026–2035).

She explained that data were collected from different sources by the consultants aimed at having a workable documents that will see the light of the day and drive the strategic development of Adamawa State.

Dr Paninga described the presence of all stakeholders and technical working group as key and instrumental in shaping the development of the SSDP which will give birth to a rich and qualitative document.

The Permanent Secretary Adamawa State Planning Commission represented by Director Planning and Research Dr. Solomon kyagha had earlier welcomed all participants and urged them to make meaningful contributions in the review and validation of the data and situation Analysis report provided by the HPMC.
