A One day training organized by Adamawa State planning commission in collaboration with UNICEF on Result based management at Homtel Hotel Yola.
The training had in attendance Representatives from UNICEF, Consultants from HPMC, Planning Commission, Partners, women & youth and the SDP Technical Working group.
In a remark the Executive Chairman Adamawa State Planning Commission Dr Mary Pannnga Commended Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for his focused plan in governance yielding visible development in Adamawa State. She expressed confidence with the commitment demonstrated by the state government to ensure an evidence-based sustainable development impact.
Dr Panninga expressed optimism that the joint efforts of UNICEF, partners and the Consultants will go a long way in achieving desired objectives at the end of the training. She urged them to be committed and make inputs that will make impact in the proposed 10 years Strategic Development Plan.
The training availed all participants opportunity to make contributions that are relevant to the success of the development of the documents.
The permanent Secretary planning Commission Mr Tanimu Buba earlier welcomed participants and thanked the consultants for assisting in the development of the 10 years strategic plan.
There were presentations by UNICEF and the consultants on result base management.
